Safety
How we keep you safe.
Your funds stay on your own exchange account, keys can trade but never withdraw, limits are written in code, and paper trading comes first. Here is every safeguard, and what it cannot do.
01Safety & control
Your money stays yours. The limits stay hard-coded.
ForecastsPro is non-custodial: your funds stay in your own exchange account, and every order is checked against rules that no model output can change.
Paper trading comes first. New accounts start with trading off; turning on Paper (the exchange testnet, play money) takes one click. Real-money trading is available when you switch it on yourself: it unlocks only after you verify your email, acknowledge the risk disclosure and connect a key verified as trade-only, and it asks for the real-money disclaimer and your own maximum amount and loss lock.
A trade-only key can
- Read balances and orders
- Place and cancel orders
It can never
- Withdraw your funds
- Hold your deposits
-
Trade-only keys, encrypted
Encrypted at rest, never shown back in full, never logged. Replace or remove them at any time.
-
Paper trading first
New accounts start with trading off. Paper runs the full loop — analysis, gate, orders — on the Binance testnet with play money.
-
Per-coin and total budget caps
Each coin is capped at a share of your budget (15% on medium risk) and all positions together at the total budget cap; larger buys are clamped. They count only what the bot bought — never coins you already held — and limit capital at work, not losses.
-
Daily-loss kill switch
When realized losses over the last 24 hours exceed your limit, the gate pauses new buys; sells and protective exits still go through. No exceptions, no overrides.
-
Automatic stop-loss / take-profit
A bracket order on the exchange after each buy, at levels you control. If the exchange rejects it, the next cycle tries again.
-
A full decision journal
Every proposal, its reasoning, the gate’s verdict and each order, so you can see exactly what happened and why.
02Before you start
Do this. Not that.
A short checklist for your first weeks. Some of it the product enforces for you; the rest is up to you.
Do
- Begin with paper trading. Watch a few weeks of decisions with play money first.
- Use trade-only API keys. Keys that can trade but never withdraw.
- Trade from a separate account with a cap. A sub-account (for example on Binance, if you can open one) holding only what you’re prepared to trade, with your maximum amount and loss lock set.
- Start at a low risk level. Smaller caps and a tighter daily-loss limit while you learn.
- Read the reasoning and the journal. If something looks wrong, switch trading off: one click, any time.
- Read the risk disclosure before you trade.
Don’t
- Don’t use keys that allow withdrawals. ForecastsPro never needs them.
- Don’t connect your main account or wallet. Keep your savings out of reach of any trading software.
- Don’t risk money you can’t afford to lose. Limits reduce risk; they do not remove it.
- Don’t treat the analysis as advice. It is machine-generated and can be wrong.
- Don’t chase a loss. Raising the risk level after a bad week is the habit hard limits exist to stop.
- Don’t share your keys or password. We will never ask for them by email or chat.
03How it is built
Built to a higher standard
Software that places orders with your money should be built like software that moves money. Facts, not testimonials or borrowed logos.
-
1,100+
Automated tests
Every money path — risk gate, orders, brackets, reconciliation, trading mode — has tests for its failure cases, run offline against fake exchanges and a fake AI.
-
Limits the AI cannot override
The risk gate is code, not a prompt: whatever the AI writes, every rule is checked in Python before anything reaches your exchange.
-
AES-encrypted API keys at rest
Authenticated encryption (Fernet: AES-128 with an HMAC-SHA256 check), decrypted only in memory when needed, never logged.
-
Trade-only keys, withdrawals disabled
ForecastsPro asks Binance for the key’s permissions and refuses a key that can withdraw — again on every live cycle.
-
Every order journaled before it is sent
Each order gets its own ID and is logged before it leaves; a lost reply is looked up, never retried blindly.
-
Security and money-path reviews
The code has been through dedicated security and money-path reviews. Argon2id passwords, rate-limited sign-ins, a strict content security policy.
These are our own engineering practices, not a third-party audit or certification.
Paper first. Stay in control.
Create your account and pay on one page. Trading stays off until you turn it on, and paper trading comes first: watch the risk gate work with play money before any of your trading capital is at risk.
